Chew Hoe’s MBA convocation ceremony

Finally, Chew Hoe completed his MBA degree from U21Gloabl. There was convocation ceremony held in Fullerton Hotel on 28 Jan 2007. The kids and I went to Chew Hoe’s graduation to join him in this joyous occasion. This was the first time Chew Hoe met all his MBA course-mates. Now he can really put a face to the name

Lunar New Year 2007

Time flies. Chinese New Year has arrived. This year is the Year of the Pig. Let’s welcome Zhu Da Ge – “Zhu Ba Jie”. GONG XI FA CAI !As every year’s tradition, this was our family CNY schedule . CNY Eve : – Did last minute spring cleaning.

This year, for a change, I bought flowers (fresh ones ) to beautify our home. Our first time.Went to mother-in-law ’s home for the steamboat reunion dinner. CNY 1st day : – Went my mom’s place and had lunch there. As usual. Lee Peng came over to our home in afternoon. While waiting for rest of guests to come, she jogged for an hour in the gym. Her determination on running is as strong as Chew Hoe.Lee Peng also taught and played MONOPOLY together with Ming Liang and Ming Xuan. Our first time too. The boys really enjoyed this game. : )
Lay Poo, Siew Lian and Choon Lian came over my place in the evening. This year Cheryl and Li Sie could not make it. A pity. We all had “candle-lit” dinner by the pool because Warren had a blackout. What good timing. CNY 2nd day : – Went to my Grandma’s place. All uncles, aunts, cousins were there. Like good old times again. Ming Liang and Ming Xuan played checkers and chess with Zhi Xiong, Darrel and Jolene. At least they were not bored for the 3 hours. In the evening, visited my cousin’s home. Again the boys were entertained. This time XBOX!! CNY 3rd day : – Stopped going out and rest at home. Ke Qing and her parents came to visit us. All the 3 kids had fun time at the fun pool. They were really wet and wild. CNY 4th day : – The boys were back to school. I was back in office. Only Chew Hoe was still enjoying his leave. We played throughout this CNY and he was the one who was working diligently SiKOD. HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR, EVERYONE.

AMD Team Bukit Timah Excursion

The whole PI team went to Bukit Timah climbing. After that, we took our dinner at the popular Boon Tong chicken rice just cross the road.

Temasek JC Class Gathering

We have a JC CG11/84 class gathering at Tzee Teck’s house on the 24 Feb. It is sooo… good to meet up with all the old classmates…:) Keep it up as an annual event.

One Week Later

Today is a great Sunday with outdoor activities together as a family. Ming Liang and Ming Xuan went for a dip in the swimming pool. Had fun with Daddy in the jacuzzi. As usual, they were so loud, noisy and crazy. In the evening we went to the park. I played boomerang with Ming Xuan. He is a good thrower but a bad catcher. Ming Liang and Daddy went jogging. Ming Liang was so tired after just 2 rounds. We had to continuously push Ming Liang to run one more round and one more round. Yes he did total 4 rounds… so proud of him. At the end of the day, the boys are tired. Ming Liang is sleeping now. Ming Xuan is looking at me typing and is hurrying me to stop blogging for the nite. OK….time to sleep.

My first blog

This is my first blog. The last one in my family to have a blog site. I have been sort of “pressurized” to start blogging.My 2 kids, Ming Liang and Ming Xuan beat me to it and my hubby Chew Hoe has been persistently asking “So…when are you starting your blog ?? ”

Therefore to put all things to rest, today is the birth of my blog site (after pushing it off for a month).
